The Water Quality Association is a not-for-profit international trade association representing the household, commercial, industrial, and small community water treatment industry. WQA maintains a close dialogue with other organizations representing different aspects of the water industry in order to best serve consumers, government officials, and industry members.

If you suspect you have a problem with your water, have it tested to confirm the nature and extent of the problem.  For aesthetic problems such as hardness, taste and odor, and/or color, your water can be tested by Abendroth Water Conditioning, a WQA-certified professional.  For health-related contaminants such as bacteria, call a state certified or other reputable laboratory. Ask a WQA professional at Abendroth Water Conditioning about the array of water quality improvement products which may suit your needs.  Check what contaminants the product reduces and to what level.  Check the product's performance capabilities, warranty, and maintenance requirements. Look for a company that supports the WQA Code of Ethics - Abendroth Water Conditioning. Look for the WQA Gold Seal. The Gold Seal indicates that the product has been certified to industry standards.
